That's arguably flawed reasoning, there's apparently considerably fewer posters overall now Isaac Send a noteboard - 30/11/2011 05:24:28 AM
Then, there were the conservatives Nekro, dartboard, SR71, and, you claim, you, under whatever screenname you had. Additionally, damookster frequently provided a rightward-moderate position.

Just to yank numbers out of my ass, if there were say, 1200 posts a day at some point, compared to this site's rough average of ~300 a day, all things being equal a 50% drop off in conservative talkers would indicate a rough doubling in representation, so to speak.

These days, the only people who post conservatively are you, Isaac, and occasionally MightyYT. Tom occasionally posts things of a fiscally conservative nature, but he has always done that.

'Conservative' is a fairly broad term, and 'fiscal conservative' is very hazy. I could add quite a few people to that list, considering how much RT and I both vary from the alleged conservative norm.

I largely stopped posting politically on this site as I grew older, for a combination of reasons. Primarily, it is because arguements on this site rarely evolve beyond disputing facts and sources. On the rare occasions that they do (typically the novel-length discussions between Isaac and Joel), they are generally discussions that either have been repeated countless times or ones that I don't think I have anything constructive to offer in.

I'm going to assume that was an overall compliment :P

Probably the easiest solution is to have a filter instead, save the new board for a "Writers Board" - 24/11/2011 06:47:33 AM 512 Views
