More than technically, in my obviously subjective opinion. - Edit 1

I am a bit sleepy at the moment, so you will have to remind me when I called the Tea Party racist.
Well, I only had time for a quick search but there's this time which is a whole series of posts of that variety, and the very similiar one here, though in both of those you said they weren't all racist, which was so very kind and generous of you, though I can certainly recall lots of chats with you of the same flavor, and FYI "... not all racist" is pretty much on par with saying "Well I don't think all X are lazy/criminal/etc".
Saying the whole group is not racist, but should therefore hold accountable leaders who are, is not saying all or even most of the group is racist. Indulging racism in leaders is not racist itself, but certainly nothing to be proud of either. Lee Atwater and Ronald Reagan may not have been racists, but WERE both perfectly willing to pander to racists for the sake of an election (Iran-Contra suggests Reagan would have and did sacrifice anything--or anyone--for the presidency.)
Quoting well documented statements by former senior GOP strategists is a far cry from calling all or even most Republicans racists. If the statements and actions bother you, take it up with the party leaders who authored them, not me. When Bush quoted Kerrys flip flops I yelled at Kerry, not Bush, because I knew the latter was right. Objecting to people condemning the reprehensible but proven acts of ones allies indicates misplaced priorities, IMHO.
