Yeah, spending property taxes on schools and enforcing child support laws are PRECISELY the same as persecuting convicted sex offenders for the rest of their lives even after they are released from prison. I am not thrilled by the "guilty until proven innocent" attitude toward those even accused of child molestation, or the ease with which children can be taken away from their parents based on almost any allegation of misconduct (which covers a great deal more than pedophilia.) I would be happy to lock up convicted pedophiles till the day they die, but ostracizing them from society even after they are declared "rehabilitated" and released, while still requiring them to maintain permanent residences draconian laws preclude, is unfair and sets them up to fail. If we are going to put them in situations that guarantee they either return to prison or disappear into a criminal underground I would rather cut to the chase and just never release them in the first place. Telling them they are free to go, but only to places where there are no other people, is asinine. So is objecting to that kind of treatment as abuse while suggesting they be publicly sodomized to death.

Thus, while you made a few points with which I happen to agree (probably solely due to the law of averages,) they were buried beneath so many inflammatory extremist ones with which I strongly disagree that I cannot help objecting strongly. Which, once again, seems pretty inevitable for everyone, regardless of how they feel about, well, anything, really. I am forced to agree with Dannys subject line.
