It really went off the rails around the lesbian covens and survivalists. You have a gift of incomprehensibility.

It is called, "hyerbole." It is a form of something called, "rhetoric." The point was that, once again, Romneys stated positions run the full range of the political spectrum (sorry, I really cannot think of a simpler clearer way to say that.) Therefore, whatever ones stance on any issue, Romney has taken a directly opposing stance at one time or another. Furthermore, because his positions on virtually every issue, even the federal healthcare law he practically created, have so frequently and completely altered in such short time periods, there is real question whether he is COMMITTED to anything except the presidency itself. With Obama we had no idea what to expect because he had not been in government long; Romney has been in government nearly a decade and we STILL do not know what to expect.
In any case, Massachusetts did decently under Romney, and while I'd rather not have four years of him, I'd much prefer him than anyone else the GOP has put forth so far. Illuminati Mormon heirarch conspiracy theories aside.

I did not mention them, nor his Wall Street hierarchy connections, though both are relevant, IMHO. There are plenty of other reasons to be frightened of Romney, however. Massachusetts did great under Romney because he was building his resume to follow in his fathers footsteps with a presidential run, and made sure to keep people happy by whatever policy necessary. Of course, Governor Romneys legacy is the state health insurance law that mandated participation without ensuring affordability, the law he said in his book last year he wanted to take national; Obama did just that and Candidate Romney has vowed to repeal it his first day as president. In other words, as a presidential candidate, Mitt Romney has repudiated his single most significant accomplishment as governor of MA; do you REALLY think that makes his record as governor a good predictor of his record as president?

Yes, he reassured you and much of the far left with far left policy as governor of MA; now he is reassuring the far right with far right policies as a presidential candidate. There is no reason to expect he would implement their policy goals or yours as president: He will promise anyone anything to get elected, even if it means flip flopping on a major issue in the course of a single day, then do as he pleases, and we cannot know what that is until he is inaugurated.
