Funny you ask that ironclad Send a noteboard - 11/10/2011 05:50:40 PM
And I want your advice. My survey is simple.

1. I'm thinking of getting "Dark Side of the Moon" and "The Wall." Any other Pink Floyd albums that you would recommend, and are those two good to start with?

The alternative music magazine I am reading had a special about PF this month and rated all their albums. "Wish you were here" came in first, followed by "Dark side of the moon" and "Meddle".
As great and fun as "The Wall" is, one of the writers was absolutely right when he said that it's actually 5 songs and a lot of fragments of a guy yelling at a crowd.
Personally, I always liked their later, more pop-ish albums "Momentary lapse of reason" and "Division bell".

2. In a completely unrelated note, what are you listening to? I've got "Walk" by the Foo Fighters on.

Good choice. One of the best records this year.

Currently on my playlist on random: Fair to Midland.
