And not particularly surprising... the Marines have always struck me pragmatic at heart.
My brother has been a Marine for 6 years, and while he wasn't campaigning for the end of DADT, he has accepted it with surprising grace. They're pragmatic: they'll find the best out of all those previously turned away applicants.
