A lot of things.

I'm disgusted at people calling themselves brave heroic martyrs because they murder defenceless women and children since they know they wouldn't last 30 seconds in a stand up fight with the US (or most) military. Their bravery shines in everything they do, from skulking in caves to covering their faces throughout defiant video challenges to stoning teenagers for wearing makeup to shooting villagers in the back and night time excursions to plant home made bombs that detonate long after they're gone. And, of course, in hijacking civilian jets to murder civilian New Yorkers in Gods name. Martyrs die for their beliefs; they don't murder for them, and these guys don't even have a real political objective: They're just mass murderers murdering for the sake of murder. They SERIOUSLY messed up on 911, and if we hadn't invaded Iraq there would truly be no hole on Earth that would hide them, because every hand would be against them wherever they heroically fled to bravely sneak around plotting their next murder.

But we DID invade Iraq, for reasons known but to Bush. On 911 even I was on his side, because my county had been viciously and cravenly attacked and my Commander-in-Chief was about to exact justice. Before it was all over the seemingly untouchable Prime Minister of Americas closest ally was brought down simply for standing by Bush in his misguided personal vendetta against Saddam. The mother of all missed opportunities.

I'm still amazed at the many stories of police and fire fighters shrugging their shoulders and automatically going back to save victims knowing it meant they would probably become victims as well.

And, yeah, I'm a bit sick of all the media twisting the ten year old knife over and over again to get ratings.
