I think things are probably somewhat typical.

Sorry if this is stepping on Neb's or an admin's toes, but I have seen a bunch of comments over the past month that activity is slow/down on the site, some folks have left, and how things use to be. Is this true?
So, how does everyone think things are going/trending with RAFO? Are we in a typical summer low, has the diminished attention on WoT impacted interest (from the site or individual posters), are there too many political posts (HA!).....what's going on?
Curious to hear opinions. I am somewhat regular to the site, but not enough to really assess this dynamic myself.

It is just slow right now but will probably pick back up. I myself have been extremely busy this year with work and just don't have as much time to engage in debates.
I actually frequent the books board more than I ever visited other fiction on wotmania. I still have reviews to add, now if I could just get time to write them.
Frankly, a few of the people who left that I am thinking of - well, good riddance. I was tired of the bitchiness and snobbishness they were displaying. One in particular was always championing on wotmania how "this community" would continue on regardless of wotmania's end. Whatever.
I enjoy different things on this site. I think it will be fine.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...

That was true even into CMB4. CMB5 is where things really began to drop off. *NM*
