1) If you could choose which month your baby would come to the world, would you have a preference? If you're a woman, do you consider seasons and pregnancy stages?
No preference, really. I suppose one good thing about a summer birth is nice weather for birthday parties and outings though.
2) If you could choose, what would be the ideal time interval between consecutive siblings?
Not sure. Probably around two years.
3) If you could choose, would you chosse to have twins or triplets or a single baby?
Yikes! My little one is quite enough trouble all on her own. Just the one, thanks.
4) Do you like buying baby clothes? And toys?
Not clothes so much but toys sometimes. I don't even much like buying clothes for myself, much less for others.
I do sometimes enjoy picking out toys for Melissa, but right now we have the 'too much junk and not enough room' thing going on. Not just her room either.
5) Have you really noticed pregant women having a weird, really weird, behaviour (behavior for Joel)?
Amy didn't get all that weird save for the very occasional crankiness. She only had two wild cravings - one for berries (any kind) and the other for turkey dinner. I admit to having been a bit disappointed.
6) Do you think children are totally overrated?
No, but they're different from what everyone says. Different both good and bad.
7) What are your prime considerations in the choosing of a school?
Good classmates and teachers. If the curriculum is weak I can help her fill that in, no problem. However a positive social experience is critical. Contacts and friends to help her later on in life would be good too.
8) Already in kindergarten?
Not yet. Another year or so.
9) Have you considered what would happen to your children if you passed away, if so have you taken some legal steps?
Well, I should expect that my wife would look after things and I am, if anything, a tad over-insured so they shouldn't want for anything much if I get offed.
10) How was your day today?
Work's a bit busy and I'm fighting off some kind of chest cold/infection, but okay otherwise. Spent last night with the wife watching a bunch of Season 1 of Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles, which is pretty solid.
Good to see you again Isa - it's been too long!
Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience with my lightheadedness
May God stand between you and harm in all the empty places you must walk.
