Some liberal folks might, and still more might support certain aspects of a regime while decrying others. I've never known any examples of the former, though I do know some of the latter. The United States government has a history of being in bed with dictators, especially in Central America, often to protect our business interests, and of course the blame for that belongs equally to our entire political system.
The monolithic entity known by conservative media as "the Left" is just that, a myth, and so it doesn't really support anything. I suspect it is like "The Right" in that way. Such generalizations do make cries of "hypocrisy!" a whole lot easier, though.

As I mentioned in my reply to Legolas, 40 or 50 years ago it was mutual hypocrisy.
