Loaded up the entire CMB and pasted it into a spreadhseet and ran a 'countif' on "Joel", "Trzaska", and "Politics:" and came up with 66, 37, and 86 respectively, most of Joel's are political, virtually all of Trzaska's are. And most do generally use the politics header though various political things have been posted often under 'humor' or current events, religion, war, etc so that 86 isn't quite as bad as it sounds. I may be being a bit unfair to Joel by subconsciously including the 6 double posts he did that got deleted though. Still, in the last month he has 400 posts, virtually all political, to my 80 and trzaska's 60



He's got 6000 posts on a board that's two years old, most of which is about politics and most of which are pretty long, so in point of fact, yes he does talk about this stuff every day. I don't criticize him for that in of itself, I post a lot too and long stuff, but I'm criticizing him for his tone, trzaska might be as bad, I don't think he is frankly but I admit to being biased, but he's got a tenth of the post Joel has, at 692.

But this isn't about Joel's post count or even his tone, it's about this being the n-teenth time in the last month someone's told him cool it and he's responded that he means to, I'm just getting a little tired of hearing him say it, and it's not new, several months back after he and I got into it we agreed to a week long 'no political posts period' agreement and he massively broke it. It wasn't some sort of blood oath but I can't help but roll my eyes when he tells me he's planning to stop.
