Corporations don't pay taxes--they just pass the cost along to the consumers.

Only up to a point; after that consumers stop buying the overpriced goods (on the other hand, that's just another way multinationals evading taxes by stashing profits overseas hurts smaller corporations who MUST get corporate taxes they can't likewise evade from their customers). Personally I'd be more than happy in principle and in fact to abolish corporate income tax--as long as we abolish corporate personhood and the inanity that corporations have equal protection under the law thanks to the Fourteenth Amendment written to emancipate former slaves. Until then it's grossly unfair to say that corporations have the rights of REAL people but, unlike real people, needn't be bound by inconveniences like limits on political donations or having to pay income tax.

Not that, once again, it really matters what you or I think; neither of us is a corporation so no one in Washington gives a dead rats ass what we think.
