NSSP: On the one hand, I am glad that we will be having NFL Football this year...

...on the other hand, for whatever reason, I am supposed to care about Tim Tebow.
I am living in Florida this year and so all the Gators fans who worshiped at his altar have something to do with it, but there does seem to be an awful lot of coverage on a guy who seems destined to be a backup until he bites the bullet and moves to fullback, and even then may not get far.
I mean, Tebow's throwing motion is awful. Always has been. He thrived in a league where you could get away with that, but in the NFL? Not so much. But this was all said long before he was drafted.
Now he's firing back at the critics, saying that they don't know his abilities. Yes, they do, Tim, unless you have been holding back a reserve burst of ability for some unknown reason. He can't claim to have snuck up on us. He was being nationally covered in High School, for crying out loud.
And yet, here we are, being given near daily updates on the guy competing for the role of back-up quarterback in Denver. He isn't even competing with Orton for the top spot, he's competing with Quinn to be backup.
I know by writing this I have now forced you to consider the woes of Denver's would-be back-up. But misery ought to be shared, don't you think?

I see a lot of Wildcat formations, goal line stands and game-already-decided possessions for Tebow. *NM*

I hope he fails spectacularly.
