How many times should I have to explain that I don't support the idea that he is left wing or that I am only referring to the American media? My point that this is simply one of a many examples of the left trying to paint the right as dangerous extremist has been ignored by all while I keep getting reminded, even tough I have made the argument myself, that the left and right are different in the US. If people are either to lazy to read what I am saying or to slow to understand it that really isn't my fault. If I am being unclear say so and will try to be more concise. If someone would like to argue that the left hasn't been trying to paint the right as dangerous radicals I would be glad to hear but I have yet to see that. Instead I get people either arguing points I have either made myself or already conceded or just plain insults. If you want to complain about the lack of rational debate you need to look at the people refusing to have one.

I didn't really have time when I replied to Rebekah. To clarify:
-I don't think you think he's Left.
-I have read what you have said, but I have not seen the mainstream media gloating about him being right (as I have said, doesn't mean it's not happening).
-I think you are confusing people (imo), because it sounds like you're going back and forth -- you agree with us, but are supporting the effort to defend the right. It's laudable, but I still think it's just true to say "right" without also mean every republican I know.
