Generally all intelligent people, no matter where they are from, can be expected to know all or most of those answers. Obviously, I'm not talking about people who go to second-, third- or below-third-rate colleges in America (or really, who go to shitty colleges anywhere, though we have an abundance here in America). The point is that only the rugby question was the sort where one would have to be from a certain place to be reasonably expected to know it.

Or, one could be from the Midwest, and know it because it's not that obscure.:P And not necessarily think that her friends are generally unintelligent or alma mater second rate.

And the US does NOT have "pubs" per se. We have bars that sometimes call themselves pubs because they use the pub theme.

Technicality. Regardless, I've seen rugby here. And not that infrequently.
