for charging her with 1st degree with nothing but circumstantial evidence. They should have leaned on her until she broke and then pled to manslaughter (if they could get her to admit that the death was an accident). Instead, the prosecutors decided to go after her with 1st degree, hoping jurors wouldn't see through their weak evidence and witnesses. Too bad for them. She's guilty of being a pretty bad mother, being neglectful. being a liar but I doubt she is guilty of 1st degree murder.
