Wow, Calc 2 was that hard for you? trzaska2000 Send a noteboard - 27/06/2011 02:51:07 PM
It's just the flip side of Calc 1 and obviously you did well in Calc 3.....interesting.

The one class I had trouble with was Engineering Statics.....beams, forces, right-hand rule, etc. Maybe because I was going for a chemical degree, but that crap confused the hell out of me! I dropped it one semester when I found out that the summer class was a bit easier due to the time constaints. I barely got by that SOB with a C.

Calc 2 was by far the most difficult class for me in getting my Engineering degree. For a little background, I aced Calc 1 (Differentiation) without really trying, breezed through Calc 3 (Multivariate Calculus), and only had to work a little harder in my Linear Algebra & Differential Equations course. So, in those three classes, I got all As without really trying. I failed Calc 2. I took it again and got a C. Math comes pretty easy for me, and all the As I got would seem to support that, but for some reason I couldn't quite grasp integration until I was using it in Multivariate Calculus the next semester.

I got As and Bs in all my engineering and science courses, and eventually graduated with honors. So, while Calc 2 was by far the most difficult course I took in college, it didn't prevent me from doing well in my other classes.
