(such as that which a 7-8 year old might converse in) you are proficient for the vast majority of tasks. You may occasionally need to refer to an authoritative source on diction, but that shouldn't deter you from getting on.
/Simple Question: at what point do you tell people you "know" a language or "speak" it?
