Have you been able to talk to him about the incident?

My husband will frequently smack me on the ass playfully, but last night he did it hard, in anger, and because I challenged him. I didn't realize what it was at first because he does do it playfully, but when I turned around I saw the fire in his eyes, and all because I joked around about not wanting him to add something to the dinner I was cooking.
I told him what he did wasn't okay but he didn't apologize. I think we all know the only place it can go from here. The only thing is he hit me on the ass. It's not like I can go to the ER with a black eye. That's my predicament...that I can't prove anything. He's been more and more controlling lately and I'm not easily controlled so we've been butting heads.
I'm pretty liberal w/ my elbows when someone touches my ass w/o warning.
It is still hitting, and it is still a big deal, right?
Unfortunately , yes it needs to be brought to light. Best wishes.

Yes. It's not at all ok, and it is a big deal.

He shouldn't hit you but don't overreact.

Maybe you and Capt. Industry are the last people who should give me time management advice.
