It's not a 'Wow it's hot, I need a cold one' kinda beer, but it goes well with a steak, and it's probably the best big name domestic for flavor, your mileage may vary though, they make a lot of seasonal stuff and bottle them in variety packs, good for parties because almost everyone will find something they like. It's not as an acquired taste as Guinness but I have noticed it's still one of those ones where a lot of people take a bit of time to warm up to it, so you might not like it your first round or two then think it's great stuff down the road.
By the way, I've never understood why some of the really big domestic US beers aren't very good (Bud/Bud Light, Miller, etc). Example: I had a Bud Light once and hated it- too watery. You'd think with such a large customer potential at their disposal, they'd actually attempt to make something really good.
I remember going to Munich with a few friends once back in '05, went to this ancient and well known beerhaus, cliche band and all, got these liter mugs, we all sipped, put 'em down, paused, and finally one of my buds says "Does it taste like Bud?" and we all nodded. The classic US beers are mostly restricted pale lagers, because it was cheaper to make them that way post-prohibition, we don't really have any pre-prohibition beers. Anyway, you can and they did throw in a lot of corn and rice because they were cheaper then barley, no real flavor from using them, and so you could also slash costs a bit from using less hops. We didn't exactly have a lot of beer snobs from a generation of alcohol bans so there wasn't much bitching and the stuff was very cheap to make that way. The various micro-breweries all over the place do a more classic beer, for a higher price, more taste, etc. They knew how to make a 'better beer', but it was cheaper to make, way cheaper, had about the same ABV, and people bought it.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.

I figure that since there's a lot that seems to be down in the world, good randomness is good.
