It's a fairly incoherent statement even with ellipsis, and no I'm not familiar with any groups that advocate killing doctors on suspicion they might have performed an abortion, Roland, he All CAPPED suspicion, you don't think that's the presumed main thrust of his comment? Just a thought, if your point is you think I misinterpreted his comments, maybe you should have said that first, not launched a separate attack, and possibly have picked a somewhat 'more better' grammatical statement to point fingers about misinterpretations over. Because the best read I can get on this is that by 'supporters' he means the majority of people opposed to funding Planned Parenthood while they perform abortions, which also apparently is a belief you hold, and which would, I think, safely translate as 'most pro-lifers' who like myself, consider killing a doctor because they perform abortions to be a murder, and would regard killing someone on suspicion of it to a double whammy of screwed up ethics.




I assume they take precautions to protect themselves from people who would try to kill them, which much like a whaling boat probably tends to lean towards people of fairly specific ideology. Off the top of my head I personally know at least two dozen people who place abortion as their #1 issue and more who place it as a ties with a handful of others, none of them seem to have mentioned their support for killing abortion practitioners, though I don't think they'd shed many tears over it. I'd also imagine PETA supporters would find some grim irony in a cannibalistic serial killer who ate slaughterhouse workers, doesn't mean they'd invite the guy over for tea and slap medals on him. I doubt most people who are against whaling support murdering the crews of those boats or their customers, extra security measures are nonetheless warranted, but that hardly permits whalers to accuse everyone who is against their trade of being homicidally inclined. I'd also point out we'd not be flinging mud at people who supported fishing subsidies but wouldn't be okay with those subsidies going to a group that engaged in whaling, even were it legal here.



I'd love to know when I told you any such thing. I would appreciate, if you wish to carry on conversation, that you reply to things I have said. I also, in response to what you just said, fail to understand why PP's rather understandable security concerns have any relevance to whether or not they should receive taxpayer funding.
