Under the Freedom of Information Act citizens have a right to any government document not covered by security exceptions. We have been informed that the raid took place and bin Laden was killed, so there is no secrecy threatened by releasing the picture. Using a vague "national security" excuse in this instance is just a bad, bad precedent to not disclosing anything the government doesn't want to disclose on theoretical grounds of "national security".
Dude, there is a security secrecy that would come to light. No one is supposed to know that Charlie Sheen is actually the guy that fired the shot that killed Osama. Personally, I have no desire to see Charlie Sheen holding a gun in one hand, a whiskey in the other with his foot on Osama's chest and a cigar in Charlie's mouth.
Your mom. That's right. The cat is out of the bag. Your mom.
