It's not exactly like I'm glad to hear he's dead...

Relieved...yes; to know that the man who killed so many innocent civilians is dead. That, I can honestly say.

But, as a person who is trying very hard to live a Christian life, both inner and outer, I really can't say I'm glad.

However, I can agree with many here that justice has been served.

He who lives by the sword shall perish by the sword...

And I know I'm not his judge. I just can't help thinking that his and four other deaths have prevented hundreds if not thousands of others, and can't imagine any way in which the world would not be better without him in it. It's not like it was murder. I deeply regret the necessity, but can't deny it WAS necessary. I would not have it so, but, in the end, it was his decision, one with which he had to live and ultimately die, just like all his victims. That he will claim no more victims makes me very glad indeed, and this seems the only the way to achieve that goal.
