It does seem clear to me that the president doesn't want something to be seen on his birth certificate otherwise what reason would he have for not showing it? It baffles me why he has gone as far as to fight in the courts to keep it private.


Perhaps he doesn't want people to see something on it but why do you have the right to see it? It is a standard, official form, what could be on it that the public's interest are served by seeing that isn't on the short version he has provided?

It is one of the many things that baffles me about this whole fuss - that no one claiming he has something on it that he doesn't want them to see hasn't been able to say what it is that they have a right to know about him and is on that birth certificate.
