Quite well. While I'm not QUITE as thin as my absolute low within the last 10 years (132 lbs), my leg muscles are built up more so I'm close to it.

Control your portion, not your passion. If you want to lose weight fast, cut carbs. Cut as many carbs as you can. There is no such thing as a "good carb" if you really, really want to lose weight.
I have to do both. And I have to cut carbs, because I don't lose if I just control calories regardless of type. I still keep carbs in my diet (fruits, beans and really grainy items) because it's good for the brain. I don't need any more trouble there.
