That entirely depends on how you define family.

Blood relatives can be some of the most irrelevant, rude, worthless lumps of shit in the universe. The sharing of genetic code does not worth make. Thank goodness I do not have any family members who have treated me as such, but I know people who's family members treat them as less than dung (Both physically and emotionally). Their family members are responsible for years of therapy, stress, breakdowns and self-inflicted injury. Fuck blood, those people do not matter.
Now, if you mean people who really act like family, supporting, loving and caring for each other regardless of who shares genetics with who and legal bindings...I can totally agree with you.

If you don't want drama, don't invite family. Seriously, listen to the voice of experience here.

How can you *not* invite family? Family is all that matters. *NM*

In your opinion. For me, as an example, it is the people I care for and respect that matter.
