But uh yeah trying to increase the number would be an interesting challenge, or should I say scavenger hunt. Someone should do it and then write a book. Every chapter will be about a different apostle. In the process, no contact with non apostles or with apostles that are extraneous, that should make it exciting!
The rules as follows.
You have 3 months.
You have to gain knowledge of 11 out of the 12 apostles
The 12th apostle (Judas) is a bonus. If you learn of him you win instantly. (Has to actually be named Judas not some variation there of)
Jesus is a bonus, if you get him you get an extra month in which to complete the challenge.
Since the apostles are good innocent men of god and this is a challenge of corruption you can not initiate any encounter, but must somehow cause them to initiate.
You may not do this by informing them of the challenge
Becouse I'm a horrible tease and it was your idea no contact with non apostles. Once you have known an apostle during the course of the challenge you may encounter him as often as you like.
I bet you cant pull it off.
Which apostles of Jesus Christ have you known? In the biblical sense, of course.

Good question. According to Biblical scholar Richard Elliott Friedman:

That seems over simplified in a few areas, though I've always agreed with the, er, "main thrust".
