It sounded like you were coming up with an example proving Limbaugh's claim
but clearly this doesn't, unless one ignores the key sentence in that paragraph which is the one before your bolding and is central to the context.
The earthquake and tsunami will clearly have a severe impact on the economic and social activities of the region. Some islands affected by climate change have been hit. Has not the time come to demonstrate on solidarity – not least solidarity in combating and adapting to climate change and global warming? Mother Nature has again given us a sign that that is what we need to do.
but clearly this doesn't, unless one ignores the key sentence in that paragraph which is the one before your bolding and is central to the context.

Henning Mankell "We must defend the open society, because if we start locking our doors, if we let fear decide, the person who committed the act of terror will win"

So, how many drugs is Rush Limbaugh actually on?

Republican spin doctor Frank Luntz popularized "climate change" to make global warming appealing.

Kind of missed the point there

You need to reread what I said
16/03/2011 10:49:45 PM

No, I think you're still missing my point
16/03/2011 11:09:04 PM

No. You don't get to say, "what he said doesn't matter because of how we learned of it".

I think Republicans should stop using "legitimate". I do not think it means what they think it means

there are enough carzies on the left to make things like this easy for Rush
16/03/2011 04:20:47 PM

So it doesn't matter that no one said it as long as he can plausibly claim they did.
16/03/2011 06:58:17 PM

well since it is taken out of context it is hard to say where Rush was going with it

It is not just "possible" he's talking about islands affected by global warming; he says it outright
16/03/2011 10:09:16 PM

Sorry but I still fail to see how the islands he mention are a sign of what needs to be done
16/03/2011 10:27:20 PM

Then you don't understand context and this whole discussion is pointless.
16/03/2011 11:28:47 PM

lets throw a little context at asnd see if it matters
