Because they're assholes, sorry if I didn't make my opinion on the actual people doing it sufficiently clear.



The point revolves around the actual post, as well as the video itself, which are making it appear that people just showed up to be mean and vile one day. Wahhaj has whole pages devoted to making portraying him as evil, so do Palin, Obama, Scott Walker, and Adolf Hitler - how truly deserved that animosity is for each of them is obviously variably and in the eye of the beholder, but it's a bit silly - well, not silly, since the omission is not accidental - not to mention a given event may be under protest because of their presence.



Wahhaj has a fairly long record of public statements that many object to, which are grounds for protest themselves I suppose, I don't particularly ask for long details from people protesting Palin or Obama either.



General rudeness probably, I've never seen video of any in-your-face protest that wasn't carefully edited to make it look good that didn't generally fill me with disgust.



I think not, but I'm disinclined to let that justify a wide smear attempt.



Seeing as the source that provided the video is not particularly credible, I can't really say, possibly because they're jerks, we've just watched a whole month of that sort of thing in Wisconsin. I am not a big fan of whaling, fur trapping, or ivory poaching, I am also not a big fan of people throwing paint on people who wear fur or attack whaling ships. I would still object to someone producing a video of an attack on a whaling ship, and using it as a hit piece on everyone who objected to whaling, ivory, or fur - particularly if they didn't bother to mention that the attackers believed it was a whaling ship and that that was what motivated the attack.
