I find it hard to disagree with this article. Anyone with different perspectives care to shed light?
Its funny, I came across a similar article explaining the corporate tax cuts, although I feel it was written more objectively than the above article. (see link below)
I have an issue with some of the statements in the posted article such as:
"It is simply unfair for Main Street Americans who’ve already been battered by one of the worst economic crises in our history to have to continue to sacrifice while the rich and well-connected continue to rip off taxpayers and avoid paying their fair share. That’s why a Main Street Movement consisting of Americans who are fed up with the status quo is rocking the nation, and one of its first targets should be tax dodgers like Bank of America and Boeing."
The real fault is the government and the IRS for making & enforcing ridiculous tax codes and not necessarily the corporations. Don't all we tax-paying middle-class americans use all of the deductions we qualify for to reduce our own tax burdens?
Personally, this is one of the many reasons my family supports the Fairtax - replacing all federal income taxes with a national retail sales tax :http://www.fairtax.org/site/PageServer?pagename=about_main
