While I would agree that not informing your partner of your condition would be highly immoral, the decision to enter into a sexual relationship should be the couple's. Forcing a person to be celibate because of circumstances outside of their control is unconscionable.
Judging by the tone of your post, you would do well to look at various statistics regarding sub-Saharan Africa, especially the prevalence of rape and AIDS orphans. I've linked a fact sheet to this post.

In general that is.
And though they are ... well, how can one find a word for that? But that doesn't really change what I've said.
Lets make a little comparison, if I would claim that all persons who have been infected by... radioactivity should never again eat applepie. Yes, a silly example, but would I have to change my opinion if 90% of the worlds population is infected?
Anyways I do not fully agree with the pope, for not only is my motivation different for not seeing condoms as the ultimate solution, I'm also not categorically against them. Neither is the pope btw and we both agree that it can be a partial and intermediate solution in some cases (the pope and I prolly disagree on the specifics).
And yes I agree that one cannot have sex alone and the possible partner is to be involved. But it isn't that hard to avoid entering a (new) relationship that involves sex as far as I know.
