Very cool, especially the vaccine preservative and shark skin sterility.

Some of these I found realling interesting, even if only just because the animals themselves have the ability. Truly there is so much we could learn from what's around us as opposed to mindlessly focusing on the "Achievements of Man".
At the risk of reopening a tangential can of worms, I'm unaware of any serious or widespread side effects associated or even alleged of small amounts of sugar, which makes it a lot more appealing vaccine preservative (to me) than things like formaldehyde and antifreeze. And given the near epidemic rate of hospital infection, in an environment so rich in antibiotics that many bacteria are immune to them, anything that offers a significant reduction is also very appealing. Similarly anything that makes windpower more efficient or solar panels cheaper and cleaner is good for all of us. Good thing industrialization and population growth hasn't driven these species to extinction, eh?
