Fancy a free Premium Account? Submit a QuickPoll! - Edit 1

Before modification by Nebhead at 28/02/2011 02:29:14 PM

In order to help keep up the flow of awesome QuickPolls, I've decided to reward anyone who submits a poll that gets chosen for use with a week's free premium account.

A premium account gives you a whole raft of nifty features that you can use around the site, and I figured it's only fair that people who help me out by suggesting quickpolls be given free use of them.

If you've submitted polls which have been used in the past, never fear! You should have already recieved a noteboard from me; you've already been set up with a premium account that'll last one week for each poll you've submitted which has been used. If you've already got a premium account, no worries! The extra time has been added onto the end of your subscription, so you won't miss out on a thing.

If you've submitted polls in the past which haven't been used, don't be disheartened! Here are a couple of reasons why most polls don't appear:

* Someone else got there first: We try to keep polls new and entertaining, and we frequently get duplicates through. While we may sometimes run similar polls from different people, most of the time the duplicates will just be deleted.

* We haven't got to yours yet! We try and rotate the types of polls, so that every week there's an even balance of Book, WoT, TV/Movies and Community polls. If lots of people submit a whole pile of WoT polls at the same time, they'll be spread out over a while instead of running them all back to front.

* You didn't provide enough information: make sure that you submit enough different options with your poll question. We don't have time to create options for you!

* It just wasn't good enough: some polls just don't make the grade; either they're too obscure, or they're silly, or any number of other reasons.

Keep on submitting those polls, and keep on earning free premium accounts!

Give me a shout if you have any questions, or think you should have been given a free premium account but haven't.
