Parental supervision not felony conviction is the way to solve this. We give children to much privacy. Phone companies need to offer parents the option of viewing in text their underage children are sending each other. Little Sally might not be so eager to send her boyfriend a picture of coochie if she knows daddy might see it as well.


I am bugged a little at calling a 16 year old a "child." They are testing their boundaries and learning to be adults: they should get some privacy. I'm not saying let them run rampant or anything. But if they aren't given the opportunity to be somewhat independent, they are going to be even less likely to make it as successful adults.
