Christian values only prohibit heterosexual sex OUTSIDE of marriage. Not within marriage. Where's the hypocrisy if you do exactly as your faith tells you to?
The hypocrisy is in making it possible for some people to use that way around the prohibition, and not for others. If "the temptations of the flesh" are perfectly fine when they happen within marriage, then they should be just as fine when they happen between those who would be married if they weren't arbitrarily denied the right to do so.
There is no argument. The rules are indeed arbitrary. That's the whole point.
One act is saved specifically for marriage. The other is prohibited altogether. Either accept it or don't follow that particular faith. Simple as that.
