It was ...
Roasted marinated pork - 1$ for marinade and 4$ for 1.20 pounds of pork.
roasted carrots and turnips - 50c for the bunch of carrots and the single turnip.
and ... String beans stir fried with soy sauce and spices. - 4$
In truth, if you accurately measured and added up all ingredients, it might rise to 12$. The marinade I bought at a local maple farm (it was 'maple adobo marinade' in my hometown, it was a bit pricey compared to normal ones. VERY tasty though. (EXTREMELY TASTY).
I think she miss charged me for the carrots, I got a bunch of carrots, I mean like, 8 smallish carrots and it only costs 60ยข to be exact. If carrots are that cheap I'm gonna buy them more often. Roasted carrots rule!
The best part of course, no left overs. Everyone had their chunk of pork and three vegetables side. I love cooking wins like that.
The turnip wasn't a big hit though. I thought it was ok, my one roommate thought it was bleh but went well with the pork, my other roommate liked it a lot though.

made 10$ dinner the other night (what do you think of turnip)

How is no leftovers a good thing?

Well, leftovers means you have less taste for the money, of course.
