Well New York has been fun so far - Edit 3

Fun gets described in a lot of ways- most of them good from where I sit.
As soon as my plane lands, it starts to snow. And BOY does it snow! NYC gets buried and chunks of it are paralyzed. Buses snowed into the streets etc.
Still, got up early, went for a walk and got breakfast and then headed off to the Metropolitian museum. Took lots of pictures. The walk was a bit chill with 55mph winds but lots of NY folks were out in Central Park sliding and taking photos or running. Lots of runners.
Pushed a couple cars out of the snow.
Spent all day at the Met and still didn't see it all. Place is HUGE and understaffed due to the storm so some areas weren't open. Even so was there from open until nearly close.
On the walk back, helped the NYPD get one of their cruisers unstuck from the snow.
Got a call from Aeryn and we got together for dinner down in Times Square. Pretty impressive at night, I must say and the snow made things interesting. Chatted for awhile after until she had to grab the train home. Didn't get to go to the Russian restaurant she'd wanted me to try. Perhaps later today if that works out. She's got a nasty cold so may not.
Tom's still snowed in so may not get to visit with him. I hope they dig him out in time.
Not quite sure what today's plans are but I'm sure it'll be fun.
