Right now VISA and MC can pretty much dictate the terms and if you don't like it you can try running a store that won't accept credit cards. Maybe they can stop offer all those reward systems that pretty much only favor the rich and businerss travelers. The rest of us are payiong for those free miles with higher cradit cards fees being passed onto to us from the retailer.
