Holding the WC in places like Australia is absurd, most people there don't care about football compared to other sports. The same goes for the United States, or Canada for that matter.
1. All these countries are terrible at football.
Football is the most played sport in Australia. Also, Australia is currently ranked 20, which is higher than France.
2. No one living in them gives a shit about it.
The official FIFA fan site had several thousand people there when the Socceroos were playing in the last world cup, and that was at 4-30 in the morning.
If you have to hold it in Asia, give it to a team that kind of matters, like Korea (south, of course).
Australia is ranked 20, South Korea is 39. Also, the current diplomatic tensions in South Korea may discourage FIFA from wanting to hold it there.
If you have to hold it in North America, give it to Mexico. Or better yet, bail on North America and bring it to Argentina, Uruguay, or Brazil.
Brazil is hosting the WC in 2014.
And for the love of God keep it out of the Middle-East, the last thing we need is a 9/11 style attack wiping out the worlds greatest football teams all in one go.
You really can't help yourself, can you?
Just quickly, Australia had a win, a draw and a loss in the last world cup. How'd the Italians go?

Because, out of all the choices for the 2022 Cup, the U.S. and Australia are the best choices

Your opinion that Australia is better than Japan and SK doesn't seem to be based on facts.
