I'm tired of depressing news, so let's share pet stories (preferably not depressing ones ).
In the time when I had cats and was dating my cat-allergic now-wife, we would close the door to the bedroom to keep the cats out. The problem with this is that the door didn't latch shut: it would only wedge in the frame. After a few nights of scratching under the door, I woke up to hear something hit the door. A few more thumps and then there was a cat on the bed. Yes, the cats would body-slam the door until it opened!
We now have a dog. He's eight months old, and about 25 pounds. When my wife brings him over to her friend's house, he chases their three-year-old, 100 pound dog around and plays with him until the bigger dog is too tired to do anything more and just gives up and takes a nap.

Tell a pet story.
