You know I like to sleep in, remember? - Edit 1

I would expect a couple of inflammatory posts or at least one "oh god, oh god, we are all going to die" by the time I woke up.
I have to go to the National Registry for yet a third time, so I'll deal with it when I return. Meanwhile, just for the sake of argument, another Korean War would seem less likely if 1) they didn't habitually commit acts of war against the US, her allies or both and 2) they'd ever bothered to conclude the undeclared war they began 60 years ago. Call me crazy, but I don't think someone who's maintained a state of war with you for half a century wants peace. Remember your Von Clausewitz: With the exception of the link I gave you the other day, NOTHING has been done to reduce North Koreas will to fight. Rather the reverse, so short of giving them everything they've ever wanted I see no reason to consider a resumption of hostilities any less likely than in 1953.
Yet as long as the US and her allies submit to Kim Jong Ils regular extortion, don't commit the terrible belligerent error of confronting him, North Korea won't attack South Korea. Just like Hitler didn't invade Poland after the French and British gave him the Czechs to do with as he pleased.
