Sorry I've been absent, I think I'm back on track now. Following with my trend from earlier in the year if you don't pick a game it counts as a loss. So everyone who misses the Thursday game automatically picks the loser. I did it to myself last week just so we know its fair. Last week we had only our second week all season under 500. Lets see if we can pick it up this week:
Well thats fine I guess, but put the thread up sooner than the same day as the Thursday game. I got on yesterday to see if it was up, it wasn't, so this is the first chance I've had since to do this. Post it Monday night, then Edit in the thread with the standings later on.
Here are the standings through week 10 in an XLSX file, if you prefer the XLS file I'll post that later. Also I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for the amount of games we should use as our cutoff point for people who don't participate everyweek. As of right now the people with every game picked have 128 total games and most people are over 100 or close to it. I'm just curious if you guys have input on the number of final games picked we could use to cut out the people who may have an unfair advantage by picking much fewer games.
There will be 230 games total if I'm correct, so we would want to have picked perhaps around 175 games. Thats just over 75%. I'm more of the mind to say people should have picked almost 200, because that allows for two weeks of missing games. Life happens, but this is still a competition (for the highest of all prizes, Bragging Rights) and you do have to put forth some effort to play.
Your mom. That's right. The cat is out of the bag. Your mom.
