I can't remember her exact words, but I do remember that it did not give me a mere "oh she's just using hyperbole to illustrate her point" impression.

And even if she had, it still wasn't a very good thing to bring up to relate to her skills with national security (which I believe was the topic under discussion, or something similar). As far as I know, we're not in danger of an attack from Russia, and I doubt they'd be launching terrorist attacks on Alaska anyways.
