Not as old as the song - Edit 1

Before modification by Isaac at 09/11/2010 03:43:07 AM

Had tons of tapes and records in the house but not mine, but I was 16 and I had to pay cash for my computer because I couldn't get a checking account, and I had about $60 bucks more than the machine cost, so I bought a video game - Warcraft 2 - and a CD, WallFlower's "Bringing Down the Horse", first CD in the house I think. That's kinda funny because the lead singer is Bob Dylan's son and I've been humming "All along the Watchtower" for like half an hour now since I read Ghavrel's post of some Dylan lyrics.

I've got Lay Lady Lay alternating with Hurricane. Talk about trippy.

Most of his stuff's a good decade before my time. I can't even say I got it from my Mom, she was a teen in the 60's but she was more a Doors and Choplin fan. "All along the Watchtower" gets played for virtually every late 60's-70's newsreel montage on hippy's so it would be pretty weird if I didn't know it, but Dylan gets played and covered so much I'd guess most people know his stuff even if they don't know its his stuff. I'd a friend back in '04 who was really big into Dylan and the Grateful Dead, like stacks of tapes, sheet music, etc. I didn't even know most of those songs were Dylan because I was so used to covers.
