He presented a thumbnail sketch of both sides of the argument. If simply presenting the other side of the argument agitates you so much then are really no better then the creationist.
Evolution is a theory and like any theory it can and should be challenged. The more ways it challenged the better. The worst thing that could happen to the theory is to begin treating like canon law. That is what is happening to global warming, question global warming and you are a heretic and full. Of course ask the average true believer to explain anything beyond it is getting warmer and green house gasses trap heat and they look at you like they don’t understand the question. I think it would be good to not do that to evolution, at least not any more then it has already been done.
There are some holes in theory of evolution, not really holes such as things are not explained or the really don’t amount to more then conjecture. Some things are very hard to imagine happening by chance. Why develop a stinger without a toxin and why develop a toxin without a stinger.
Until recently were unable to say how closely related two species were by examining living specimen, how accurate are we when looking at incomplete fossils?
We still can’t explain beyond a SWAG how major evolutionary change even works.
There is no was to prove that evolution didn't have a hand on the wheel and as long you don't have to explain how the hand got there some things become easier to explain.
Does look like a good movie though. After watching the trailer I think it will make my must see list.

I can't even believe this.

The author used the phrase "proven theories." Ergo, their argument is invalid. *NM*
