I'm not sure how AJ will fair next season, but hey, he was a big part of last year's championship, so it's not like he is Pavano 2.0.
Phil Hughes is a good pitcher and will be fine next season. This was really the first full season for him, so perhaps he ran out of steam.....not atypical.
But yes, we really need another horse:

As for Joba.....I can't get on him too much for his performance. This kid has been jerked around more that anyone I have every seen. He needs a defined role. Just leave him in relief and give him some time.
And by the way, how much longer can Marino pitch for? He's still going strong, but what is he, like 50.....
