What could you pay that would offset your sins? Last time I checked, you're as sinful as the rest of us....
when i commit a sin i ask god for forgiveness. And I try my darndest to not do it again, but if i do i sincerely ask for forgiveness again, I believe that god is all powerful and merciful and we can simply ask him directly for forgiveness and recieve it if our intentions are good. And i dont believe in a concept of original sin so the whole baptize the baby or it will burn in hell thing isnt on my radar
I'm definately not trying to be whatever, I'm just asking the question. You have definately struck to the center of the debate on what makes Christianity different from every other faith. People often ask "How do you know Christianity is the correct faith, when there are so many others out there?"
to each their own. Im not in the business of forcing my beliefs down another persons throat or telling them they are wrong when it comes to religion, i simply state what I believe, if it goes against what you believe i cant help that, but im never going to tell you your religion is wrong or your beliefs are inferior to mine. this post asked about Jesus's death and I simple stated that he isnt dead like my religion taught me. I think its pretty arrogant and frankly weird for Dragonsoul to tell me Jesus died on the cross for my sins when he knows im muslim. It not like I insulted Jesus in any way, i love the man (as a prophet) as much as the next person.
You just brought up, in a round-about way, the crux of the matter.</quote

Yeah, can you imagine paganism polluting a religion about a man hung on a tree and/or resurrected? *NM*
