Could definitely do with newer ones, but not changing the colour scheme much.



I am thinking there needs to be a lot of space, and maybe some sort of island with the stoves. Double ovens, easily, and as for cooking... one induction cook top (?) and one gas. A fairly large fridge & freezer (preferably hidden with the same sort of surfaces as the rest of the kitchen). My problem is generally that kitchens are made for runts, so I need fairly high boards and stuff. Need at least one marble bench for when such is required. Much of the easy access to cooking pots and pans, none of that hiding them close to the floor crap which is common in older kitchens. Large windows, need a lot of light in a kitchen. Need some kind of dining area close by the kitchen, preferably so there is visibility between them. Oh, and a dishwasher. I hate doing dishes



white can look good, but you need something to contrast it, then. Perhaps a coloured floor, or creative lighting.



Personal taste and comfort. My taste is pretty generic, and most people will gut a kitchen the first thing they do when buying new, so as long as it doesn't look dirty or cluttered, it won't matter all that much unless they really like it.
