And I understand the point you both have been trying to make. I still do not believe it is ethical for the fire department to totally ignore someone's house being burnt all the way down. I think it is worth noting that the firemen's association agrees with this. Damage to that house aside, fires like that are huge risks to let burn. One strong wind, and the block is aflame.
