Yeah, it's a very nuanced thing, and to find out whether he actually broke the law I'd have to look at everything he's ever written or done about the guy, THEN look into every word of MI state law to see if any of it is illegal. None of which I'm willing to do, but it's not as simple as "Opposing an openly gay student govt. leader [and, seriously, you don't have better things to do with your time, dude?] is il/legal" because sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. Pretty much the only thing I wanted to contribute was "I hope everyone tempted to post about how he's either automatically right/wrong without even looking at the specifics will spare us all. "
